This is Why You Should Have a Cup of Green Tea Every Day
There are a number of benefits from drinking green tea regularly, studies have shown. Not only is it delicious, but it also has a positive impact on your bones, weight, illness prevention and so much more. For instance, green tea minimizes the risk of bone fractures linked to osteoporosis.
A study published in the journal Nutrition Research has found that drinking green tea has more benefits for your bones than drinking milk! Women who consumed around three cups of tea each day were exposed to 30 percent less risk of fracturing a hip. Furthermore, people who drink more green tea had less chance of getting cancer, especially in green tea-drinking countries like Japan. This magic herb contains EC, EGC, ECG and EGCG which act as antioxidants.
DNA damage can be lowered if you drink green tea regularly, and DNA damage is one of first steps towards the development of cancer. In addition, green tea may help you be protected from UV rays, thus lowering the risk of melanoma. Green tea is also thought to reduce body fat and decrease obesity as well as illnesses linked to it, like diabetes.
The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition recently published a study showing that green tea lowers “bad cholesterol” LDL. Compared to non-tea drinkers, people who drank green tea had somewhat lower LDL levels and carried a lower risk of a heart attack, stroke or diabetes.
